Motor Claims Triage Handler

I am working with an Organisation based in Norwich who are looking for a Motor Claims Triage Handler for 3-6 Months Initially.

The role is full time, to start ASAP and paying up to £12 PAYE per hour plus Holiday pay. The role is in scope of IR35.

Job Purpose
- Aviva are redesigning motor claims to bring the process back in house. - these roles are required as there is a need to keep BAU moving. A pilot has been done on a smaller scale to provide proof of concept.
- These roles are similar to a switchboard - they will direct the calls to the correct area of the business - to enhance the customer experience and save customers bouncing around the system and reduce e calls into the fulfilment team.
- The calls are an average of 2 mins - approx. 100 per day. - the person must understand the customer demand and direct the customers to the correct area.
- There will be a set of questions (tool) to direct the calls - this tool is being built and will tell the person which demand is directed to which route.

Role responsibilities
- The person will also be required to demand capture to this can be analysed.
- Must have excellent communication skills/ customer service and empathy and the ability to utilise the system.
- There are no data protection questions asked at this stage as this will be verified by the end team.
- The initial training is for 1 week - planned for w/c 24/04.

Skills/experience required:

- Prior experience in claims handling is desirable - ideally within Motor, Bodily Injury and Liability - managing the process from the point of notification, right through to settlement
- Ability to speak another European language would be highly desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking, and prioritising responsibilities
- Team player mentality, with a willingness to learn and help others out
- Passionate about delivering brilliant customer service i.e., someone who takes pride in producing a high standard of work and putting the customer first
- Embrace and supports change, matched with the ability to share ideas and suggestions to improve our customers' journey
- Thrives undertaking digital & online tasks, and can demonstrate strong I.T skills, with prior experience of using software like Microsoft Outlook and Word.
