We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for a** Planner **to join the **Transport Team **at our **Latimer Distribution Centre,** Reporting to the Planning Manager you will be responsible for producing individual Driver schedules that will implement the overall Transport plan for the Sittingbourne operation.

**Here at Morrisons our Transport Planners do the following**:

- Ensure all deliveries and collections are in line with planned requirements
- Provide problem solving guidance on any operational issues such as late changes to plans and compliance with policies and procedures
- Plan and manage resources to deliver a cost effective delivery service.
- Produce individual plans for particular drivers within an overall plan.
- Analyse the plan against actual schedules to understand areas of improvement
- Maintain compliance and conformance for safe working practices and working time regulations
- Ensure policies and procedures are followed at all times.
- Ensure the completion of all associated records and reports and highlight any inaccuracies, issues or complaints
- Proactively identify opportunities for improved operational efficiencies
- Organising shunters and ensuring that vehicles and trailers are available when needed
