Craigend Gardens is located in the East End of Glasgow and is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 48 residents. We pride ourselves in providing 24 hour care and specialised services for older people. The beauty of our grounds, the quality of our catering and our engaging activities we deliver.
As a SCA you will provide person-centred care and support to assist residents to maintain their independence including personal care, mealtimes and activities whilst also providing a listening ear to those who need it most.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that comprehensive, individualized care plans are in place and are regularly reviewed and evaluated in accordance with company policy;
- Assist and to deal with emergencies and pre-planned treatment of patients;
- Maintain ongoing assessment and review of all patients;
- Administer drugs and medicines;
- Liaises with management and senior nurses to ensure effective communication for the benefit of the patients and their families;
**Essential Skills**:
The successful applicant must:

- Have obtained a SVQ level 3
- Have prior experience as a SCA
