**Job Title**: Associate Transport Planner

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the establishment and growth of a new transport planning department, working with autonomy and full support from company directors.
- Drive business development by prospecting new clients, fostering relationships, and contributing to the overall strategic growth.
- Provide leadership, management, and technical oversight for the transport planning team.
- Act as Project Manager for consultancy services, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
- Mentor and supervise staff, offering proactive advice for problem-solving.
- Utilize technical expertise in transport software packages, AutoCAD, and vehicle tracking software.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, calculations, and drawings, maintaining high technical standards.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chartered Transport Planner.
- Chartered Engineer status with relevant professional institution.
- Broad technical expertise in transport consultancy, including diverse industry sectors.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience in a consultancy environment on multi-disciplined projects.
