- **Hours**: Full-time, Mon-Thurs 7.30am - 5.45pm

**The role**

There’s a lot to love about working at Victory, especially if you work in our brilliant, passionate Procurement team. As a Material Planner, you’ll be reporting to our Material Planning manager to make sure our production line runs smoothly and our homes reach our customers looking their best.

**You’ll be expected to**:

- Monitor the level of inventory within specific commodity groups and ensure it is at an appropriate level in relation to future production requirements
- Place orders for material within specific commodity groups in relation to agreed lead times, future requirements, and current stock holding
- Manage a portfolio of suppliers’ order books to ensure OTIF delivery
- Highlight any issues relating to supply of product which will potentially affect the continuity of the production process to the relevant Production teams
- Settle any invoice queries relating to the volume of goods received
- Action any unplanned requests made from within the business for both direct and indirect materials in a timely manner
- Assist with the preparation and valuation at annual stock take
- Build and manage relationships with suppliers within specific commodity categories

**You’ll have**:

- Experience of being in a procurement team/environment (Desirable)
- A proactive approach and the ability to work under high pressure (Essential)
- The ability to use initiative (Essential)
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Experience of working with a manufacturing environment.
- Experience of working in an office environment.
- Excellent organisational skills, such as time and task prioritisation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.**You’ll also**:

- Take pride in the work they do and always strives to deliver over expectations
- Be passionate about learning and developing their administrative and procurement skills
- Be computer literate with a proficiency in MS Office e.g. Outlook, Excel is essential
