**The role and person to join us**

We are seeking an experienced individual to lead the strategic and analytical work for priority projects, contribute to the evolution of our corporate strategy, and work very closely with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in. The Strategy Associate will drive business critical projects and long-term strategies as we continue to advance Aesop’s triple-bottom-line agenda. This will involve working closely with all Global Head Office functions, and Country and Regional General Managers to support business-wide projects, key strategic planning and budget processes, and help to provide analytics across a number of critical cross functional and cross-regional initiatives.

The Strategy Associate will bring robust strategic thinking, supported by high-quality data insights and analyses, to explore and assess novel opportunities and questions for the business. Working in partnership with other teams, and bringing an established strategy consulting toolkit, the Strategy Associate will also help to drive operational efficiencies globally and enable us extend our signature customer experiences across new channels and locations as we grow. Notably, this role also works in a cross-functional and collaborative way to provide consulting-style support to our internal functions.

**Main Responsibilities**

Strategic Analysis
- Lead the strategy-development for key opportunities and top-line priorities
- Drive the analysis and development of key growth and transformation initiatives - such as growth profile for new markets and channels, our sustainable transformation, strategic product and format innovations
- Assist in ensuring that business units are supported by appropriate investment level, capability and organisation structure to comfortably achieve strategic plans
- Understand and monitor micro
- and macroeconomic environments, the competitive landscape and key competitor and retail trends and ensure these are reflected in strategic plans
- Provide analytical and administrative support to head office functions and regional teams during strategic planning, strategic delivery and other business critical projects

Data Analytics & Industry Insights
- Conduct extensive analysis on global retail and performance data and provide insights from which actionable outcomes can be derived to help increase efficiency of stores globally
- Understand and drive best practice in monitoring and managing the company’s performance, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and business model

Continuous Improvement
- Assist with strategy planning by providing robust analytical assistance
- Support large cross-functional and cross
- regional projects by providing robust data analytics, and strategic insights
- Lead Board and Management reporting and ensure they are delivered in a timely manner
- Assist with other key initiatives as may be required from time to time

**What we’re looking for**
- Management Consulting background preferred, or relevant experience in strategic, business or financial planning
- Experience in beauty, consumer, retail or luxury preferred but not essential - a passion for customer and retail is a must
- You have a strong strategic thinking toolkit, are highly proficient numerate and enjoy driving high quality analysis, presentations and projects
- Enjoy learning and exploring new ways of working and solutions that are pragmatic and balanced
- Advanced Excel and Powerpoint (slidewriting) skills
- Experience working in a global organisation advantageous
