**Your Role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Tax Specialist to join our team in Poole or Feltham. You will be responsible for the collection of tax-related information, for reporting to tax authorities in a timely manner, and to advise on the tax impact of business strategies. To support the Tax Manager UK & Ireland in all aspects of UK and Irish tax compliance and tax projects. You will ensure payments on accounts are calculated and paid to tax authorities in time. Collation of data for and preparation of corporation tax returns of all active UK and Irish companies, liaising with tax advisors, Accounting Business Partners and GL teams, where applicable. Answering local business queries on VAT and providing UK & Irish VAT expertise to projects.

**Who you are**:

- Have a tax or account qualification (e.g. ATT, AAT), or part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- At least 3 years' in-house tax accounting experience in a commercial environment is desirable
- Advanced level Excel
- Intermediate skills in Word and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of SAP is desirable
- Able to work independently
- Attention to detail is essential

Must be willing to occasionally travel away from home on business
