**Summary of Internship**

Internship positions provide an opportunity for business, science or marketing students to get hands on experience in a marketing environment

**Functions**:
Our Biotech roadmap focuses on telling one unified message to customers in this space, to support their journey from research to production, as they look to develop lifesaving drugs and therapies. Our Biotech roadmap focuses on moving away from siloed marketing from internal business areas and providing customer centred content. This role will support the delivery of one story to this highly important customer segment through working collaboratively with various regional marketing managers across multiple divisions.

You will support delivery of content and communications to the sales team, engage customers through supporting the creation and delivery of effective marketing, and tracking and reporting on success. Our goal is to provide inspiring marketing to our customers, talk to our customers with one voice and educate customers and our commercial team on our combined value offering across life sciences.

**Qualifications**:

- Student currently studying a science, business or marketing
- Students required to complete a 6 - 12 month internship
- Strong desire and motivation to develop a career in Marketing
- leadership and team building skills
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
- Ability to learn, be mentored, and improve
- Customer focus
- Previous industrial experience is desirable
- Experience with handling databases and SQL/SOQL is plus
- Interest in working with hands and having experience using hand-tools may be beneficial
- Accuracy and attention to detail is required in performing all functions of this position.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills are required.
- To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status
