Canteen Supervisor
Based At: Attleborough
PAY RATE: £12.20
JOB OVERVIEW
To manage the organisation staff canteen including food preparation, service and cleaning. To ensure that all hygiene, H&S and food safety requirements are met within the specified quality standards and budgets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares and serves food according to the agreed specifications
- Manage other employees in the kitchen
- Monitor and maintain food safety, health & safety, hygiene and housekeeping standards.
- Maintaining accurate records and accounts as required and agreed
- Help set an example for other kitchen team members of commitment, work ethic and habits and personal character
- Responsibly use resources and help control expenses
- Adhere to all organisation policies and procedures
- Be responsible for the allocated workload to meet all targets
- Liaise with all other internal departments when required
- Monitor waste, stock rotation and costs.
- Any other duties required by Senior Management.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Food Safety Level 3, Minimum 1 year catering experience
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

- Ability to manage people
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Numerate/literate
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
