Main purpose of role?
Are you a HR professional who is passionate about employee experience? Within this role you will work closely with the Director of People & Culture to support the delivery of a ‘best in class’ HR service as part of the Wellington IT team, whilst building relationships throughout all functions.
What will I be doing day to day?- Recruitment and Selection-
- Engagement with recruitment agencies to support sourcing and coordination of recruitment processes
- Utilise LinkedIn Recruiter as direct sourcing method for talent
- Act as Monitoring Officer (for NI based employees) including preparation of annual monitoring return for Equality Commission NI
- Onboarding
- Coordinate and facilitate onboarding for new joiners including pre-hire checks, induction material preparation and scheduling
- Ensuring that new hires are up to speed efficiently and effectively and that their onboarding experience is excellent
- Talent Management
- Manage the coordination of the company-wide Talent Management process and coach managers and colleagues on the process and its value
- Ensure performance improvement plans & development plans are tracked and appropriate actions delivered
- Learning & Development
- Identify training opportunities and ensuring training needs are being proactively addressed by both colleagues and management
- Promote learning & development across the business, through our internal training platform
- Policies and Procedures
- Ensure management and colleagues’ compliance to HR policies and procedures via coaching & training and addressing non-compliance promptly
- Make a key contribution to the continuous improvement of policies and procedures in line with business changes
- Employee Relations
- Lead on Employee Relations cases with direction/input from Director of People & Culture
- Coach line managers on risk, actions, communications and build on participation in difficult conversations & potential disputes
- Employee Engagement
- Implement and coordinate employee engagement initiatives to drive positive cultural change
- Own and drive our internal employee engagement survey, with a focus on dedicated action plans
- Reward & Benefits
- Assist with the administration of company-wide benefits and internal recognition platform
- Proactively research creative ways to reward colleagues including non-monetary compensation
- Records
- Ensure accurate electronic personnel records are consistently maintained in line with compliance and legislative requirements
- Ensure timely and accurate HR records management and processing of people information within Workday
- Drive Workday to be ‘one source of truth’ for people data ensuring effective use by colleagues and management
- Ensure compliance with GDPR for people data including compliance to retention periods
- Reporting
- Preparation of regular and ad hoc HR reports to Director of People & Culture, leadership and functional leaders
- Work closely with Finance team to ensure relevant people data is provided to them to enable accurate Payroll processing
- HR Administration
- Fulfil note taking/minute taking duties as applicable e.g. in employee relations situations
- Be responsible for timely processing and filing of personnel information
- Travel to offices in ROI to provide HR support as necessary or attend events
- Any other reasonable duties as required by Management
