HSEQ Advisor - Utility Division

We are recruiting for a Regional HSEQ Advisor for a leading specialist utilities contractor. The role is focused on helping to ensure the safe delivery of projects, frequently liaising with various subcontractors and clients to ensure compliance. This role will involve regular travel primarily across the Midlands and is critical to the company’s continued success.

**Responsibilities of the Regional HSEQ Advisor will include**:

- Promote a positive safety culture throughout the business
- Keeping up to date with Health and Safety legislation, good practices, ACOPS and changes to ensure compliance and maintain industry standards
- Provide consistent, accurate and technical advice to field-based teams, supervisors and regional managers.
- Be a point of contact for the HSEQ central team based in Manchester
- Assist with Accident investigations
- Promotion of TBT’s and ensuing business is compliant with the delivery of TBT’s and other monthly requirements
- Conduct internal audits and complete Site Safety Inspections
- Participate in regional teams Safety Standdowns and H&S committee meetings
- Responding to safety concerns and incidents

The successful Regional HSEQ Advisor will have:

- Proven Health and Safety experience within utilities, waste, rail, construction or related industries
- NEBOSH/NCRQ/NVQ Certificate (or equivalent) and membership of IOSH
