**Family Finance Solicitor**
A dynamic team of Family Finance Solicitor of a busy specialist Family department based in London has a vacancy to offer for a Solicitor with two years’ PQE to join its expanding specialist family team.
The firm is an established and experienced Family department ranked in Chambers UK and Legal 500.
They are looking for a Solicitor who has an experience of dealing with all aspects of finance on relationship breakdown.
**The Family Department**
The Family department is based at their offices in Whitechapel and Clapham Junction.There are currently two partners, a department supervisor, two associates, eleven solicitors, one legal executive, four consultant solicitors, two trainee solicitors and fourparalegals in the department.
They have a strong commitment to training their staff.They deliver regular internal training courses for staff of all levels of experience. They also offer a supportive working environment, with individual monthly supervision meetings, regular team and departmentmeetings and an open-door policy. They have excellent software that integrates time recording and billing with case management, the system being available remotely.
The role will also involve complementary private law children and domestic abuse work.
**Description of Role**:

- Assisting senior team members in complex, high value matters
- Continuing professional development to ensure excellent technical knowledge
- Committed to maintaining professional, Lexcel and firm standards
- Achieving goals set including in relation to time recording and billing
- Developing personal profile and marketing the team online and in person

In order to achieve this, the Solicitor must possess the following
- Technical knowledge
- Team mentality and good organisation are essential.

**Person Specification**
**Essential Characteristics**:

- Two years of experience as a family law solicitor with a finance focus
- Ability to work well as part of a team on casework, admin and business development
- Ability to communicate effectively with the firm’s client group
- Excellent written communication skills including impeccable grammar and punctuation
- Ability to prioritise, work efficiently under pressure and to meet deadlines and targets
- Good marketing, networking and business development skills
- Adaptability and enthusiasm to learn and develop skills

**Desirable Characteristics**:

- Financial and commercial awareness
- Proficiency in social media
