Slitter/rewind Operator

**Slitter/Rewinder Operative**

The position will be running a slitting machine to rework any sub-standard product or to slit orders down to smaller widths. There will also be some working on an embossing machine and a bag machine on occasion.

**Your duties will include**:

- Rewinding film to put the product back to spec
- Slitting jobs down ensuring customer specification is met on the product
- Running the embossing/bag machine if any specific orders come in
- Helping in other departments if need

**Schedule**:

- 10hour shifts
- Mon-Thurs nights
- 6pm-4am working hours
- £11.50 per hour (40hours per week)

There will be sufficient training given in all tasks on weekdays for 2-3weeks before going onto the night shifts.
- Reliable and punctual
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Flexible to do some overtime if needed
- Own transport is essential due to no public transport
- Counterbalance licence would be advantageous but not necessary
