**Your new company**
A professional services company with a different approach to delivering critical projects who operate as a global organisation.
You will join this consultancy who are delivering to create a next gen architectural capability for a leading higher education organisation in London.
**Your new role**
The role will be blended in partnership with the consultancy director for architecture and consultancy practice lead.
This role is centred around strategic thinking. You will be comfortable going into a changing landscape. You will be able to have the tricky conversations with key stakeholders to help drive, align, and guide a strategic architecture roadmap whilst assuringquality of architecture designs.
Higher Education experience is desirable for this position but not essential. The most essential trait is the strategic thinking you can bring, as well as a breadth of architecture leadership experience.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Expert in architecture
- Able to assess and build new teams/capabilities
- The ability to shape roadmaps at Enterprise level
- Excellent understanding of Architectural/Data landscapes audits
- Experience integrating architecture and data roadmaps with other capabilities e.g., PMO
- Consulting skills - communications and written ability to surface options/produce report, etc.
- Personality - used to working with wide range of people from high impact high energy to potential people with performance challenges.
- Experience or ability to work in a product and services-based environment
- Higher education is desirable, however the architecture, the consulting skills and personality are more important.
