Is seeking a part time cafe supervisor to work for our Australian influenced health food cafe in Bath.

Someone that can commit to work Friday and Saturday weekly. Occasionally cover our Cafe manager in the week, when needed.

Weekly hours between 35 hours and 40hours.

**Sunday shift is 0730-1700 Friday/Saturday shift times will vary.**

PURPOSE**:to supervise the day to day running of the cafe in accordance with the aims and objectives of the business**

WAGE**:12.50 per hour**

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
**seeking an eager and experienced individual with at least 3 years cafe experience, someone who is hard working, calm under pressure, confident with customer service and has a can do attitude Someone who is also a trained barista with at least 1 year experience of making high quality coffee.**

**GENERAL TASKS**:
These tasks are on a daily basis:

- Opening and closing the business efficiently, following procedures on a daily basis.
- Preparing barista drinks, smoothies, smoothie bowls
- Ensuring that we have sufficient supplies and produce on a daily basis to ensure that we are able to maintain the daily menu.
- Being able to multitask with multiple orders whilst maintaining high quality products including; coffee, tea, smoothies, smoothie bowls, breakfast bowls.
- Keeping a clean, tidy and organised work space throughout the day.
- Managing the team on shift

**CUSTOMER SERVICE**:
The priority of the cafe is to provide a FRIENDLY + EFFICIENT service to the customers at all times.
- Maintaining the opening times as agreed.
- Providing the full menu of the takeaway cafe throughout the day, anything less due to lack of supplies must be agreed with the owner.
- Being polite, kind and patient with every customer.
- Maintaining relationships with existing regular customers and developing new relationships with new customers; eg remembering names and regular orders.
- Politely asking the customer to wait outside for their order and taking a name to call when it is ready.
- Being honest with the customer if there is a wait time longer than 10 minutes as they may want to so some other shopping and pop back
- Working alongside the chef to provide wait times for buddha bowls, broth bowls and poke bowls dependent on how many other orders there are.

Expected start date: Position available now

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
