Staffpower Group are currently working with a rapidly expanding composite UPVC door manufacturer based in Follingsby Park. We are looking for a Material Planner to start ASAP.

This will be a temporary position with a view to a permanent contract after your 12th week. This role will be working Monday - Friday 8am until 4:30pm at £13 per hour.

**Basic Outline**:

- Reporting to the site Supply Chain Manager
- Responsible for ordering and controlling all materials used in the manufacturing of composite doors, ensuring that we have adequate stock levels to meet production requirements
- Creating and logging POs for the placement of orders
- Create inbound delivery schedules for the goods-in team
- Complete monthly stock takes and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
**Essential Requirements**:

- Previous experience of stock control in a fast-moving production/manufacturing environment is essential
- Specific experience within the door fabrication sector is an advantage but not essential
- An understanding of MRP planning and placing orders is highly desirable
- Strong organisation skills and high attention to detail
- Data literate and good IT skills - strong MS Excel is essential
**Desirable (but not essential) requirements**:

- Specific experience gained in doors or window fabrication (training will be provided)
- Hold a UK Drivers’ Licence and have access to a vehicle.
**Other Important Information**:

- Good communication skills and can follow written and verbal instructions.
