PHP Developer with a background in web platform development is sought by an international manufacturer based North Birmingham.
With a 30 year manufacturing pedigree the organisation are using this reputation alongside a newly created e-commerce platform to move into new global marketplaces.
As such they are looking for an experienced Developer to develop new functionality and features helping the business deliver exciting new projects in 6 countries next year.
This role would suit a real problem solver, someone who can live without modern frameworks and views themselves as a true software engineer with the ability to work independently or as part of a small team (the team is currently 3 people strong) to delivergreat products.
This company also support real commitment to a healthy work life balance with long term commitment to remote working and a comprehensive employee wellbeing program.
This PHP Developer should have most of the following core skills:

- Strong OO PHP
- HTML, CSS and JavaScript experience
- MySQL understanding
- Jira Knowledge
- Git version control experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor more junior Developers
- Any experience working on an in-house e-commerce platform would be a plus
In return this PHP Developer will receive:

- Starting salary of £40,000 - £50,000
