**What is the job opportunity?**

We are now recruiting for a warehouse operative to join the night shift in our friendly Camberley team.

**Job details**
- Salary £24,000 p.a.
- Full time
- Permanent

Working pattern
- 40 worked hours per week, Monday to Friday,
- Working from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. with a 1-hour unpaid break per shift
- PLUS 4 hours (8 p.m. to 12 p.m.) on 1 in every 3 Saturdays.
- 25 days holiday PLUS 8 statutory/bank holidays.

**What’s the overall purpose of the role?**

To assist in the pick, sortation, storage, loading and unloading of product within the warehouse operation.

**What will you be doing?**

As a key member of the warehouse team, you will assist in all aspects of warehouse work, including:

- Unloading stock (from the National Distribution Centre) from internal delivery vehicles.
- Loading lorries for outgoing deliveries (to customers).
- Accurately loading delivery vehicles with the allocated time frame, ensuring all deliveries are loaded safely.
- Picking customers’ orders.
- Moving and relocating stock.
- Putting away stock.
- Preparing customers’ orders ready for collection at the Trade Counter the following day.
- Carrying out stock checks.
- Following all aspects of Manual Handling and safe working policies.
- Handling all freight with care and attention.
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept tidy and that Health & Safety issues are reported immediately.

**What do you NEED to have?**
- Able to manually lift/carry/move up to 25 kg.
- Able to work well as part of a team.
- Able to work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Happy to work in a warehouse environment.
- Committed to delivering excellent customer service.

**What's NICE to have?**
- A current, valid forklift, counterbalance or reach truck licence.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre**.**:

- A commitment to learn and progress within the branch.
- A first aider qualification.
