**About the role**
An exciting career opportunity has arisen to join us at the Barnet Integrated Clinical Service (BICS). BICS is a mental health service for children and young people who live in Barnet. BICS provides evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy to children, young people and their families (CYPF). It also shares online podcasts and workshops on mental health and wellbeing for anyone to access. BICS has collaborative and effective working relationships with colleagues in Early Help, Children’s Social Care, NHS CAMHS, schools and other agencies.
As an assistant psychologist will support delivery of evidence-based early interventions for children and young people. You will also play a key role in supporting the Clinical Managers with collecting, analysing and disseminating performance data to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the service.
**About you**
As part of this role, there will be a requirement to travel between community settings (e.g. schools, libraries, Hubs) and to/from the office in Colindale where the team base is located.
You should be able to work as a team member and to engage effectively with clients and staff across a range of contexts and be able to plan and organise in the face of complex and competing demands. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to work with people from different backgrounds, cultures and of different ages.
The post holder will have a positive and proactive approach to their own continuing professional development and have the capacity for reflective practice.
