**Trainee Production Planner**

Based in Dumfries, Southwest Scotland, Gates (U.K.) Ltd is a major international company specialising in the production of power transmission belts for the automotive and industrial markets. Our continuing success has resulted in this exciting opportunity based in our Dumfries Plant.

**WHAT TO EXPECT**

As an innovation leader, we are looking for an ambitious, forward-thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individual to join our team. **Working full-time from our Dumfries office**, you will be a Trainee Production Plannerwithin our planning department.

Reporting to the Materials Flow Manager the core function of the position is to support the scheduling and planning of the Production Operations to the optimum degree of efficiency.

We will provide training and support as you embark on the initial stages of your career path.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Generate daily schedules.
- Requisition of direct materials for Production department.
- Stock checks of raw materials in Production.

**ABOUT YOU**

**Required Experience**:

- An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages is required.

**Required Skills**:
Must have excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines.
