**Job Overview**

The role of the Returns Supervisor is to ensure the smooth running of the returns department by managing the area and the team efficiently to ensure customer returns are processed swiftly, accurately, products tested, and faults are logged and reported to the relevant departments. A large volume of returned products will need to be tested for faults/issues to enable to products to be able to be released back to stock or sold to clearance outlets. This includes electrical products.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Processing returns and inputting/reporting data
- Testing a wide range of returns to assess whether the products can be repaired/BTS or returned to manufacturer under warranty
- Compiling large monthly reports on key account customers including any recommendations to reduce the returns coming back into the business
- Identify re-occurring issues with products that may be due to manufacturing issues/problems with manual instructions etc
- Process all customer returns swiftly to ensure the accounts dept can raise credits accordingly
- Compile monthly in-depth reports for key account customers with any recommendations
- Ensure returns are tested for faults/damages. If products are unrepairable - items are to be broken down for spare parts/ clearance outlets
- Rework/repair internal damages where possible for re-sale
- Testing a wide variety of car and caravanning equipment for missing parts, damages, some electrical faults
- Preparing stock for sale on clearance outlets if unable to put BTS
- Work closely with stock control regarding any stock issues/discrepancies
- Liaise with manager on a regular basis regarding staffing requirements/support needed to ensure tasks are completed
- Manage the team effectively to increase productivity
- Deal with damaged products appropriately
- Store goods safely and maintain a safe working warehouse
- Manual handling of stock
- Safe use of lifting equipment may be necessary e.g., FLT or Pump Trucks
- A positive attitude to training and self-development is demonstrated, through completion of training
- Share product knowledge, skills, and experience

**Salary**: From £10.50 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
