Responsibilities include:

- Ensure office account and client account receipts are processes promptly
- Report and seek authorisation of unpaid disbursements, then processing them
- Profess inter-account transfers
- Daily banking
- recordings of cheque logs, allocate payments etc
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Process cheque requests
- Client interest calculations
- Monthly petty cash reconciliations
- Answering ledger and payment queries from internal teams and from clients and suppliers
- Maintain the suspense account, returning unclaimed money promptly
- Filing and archiving

Person specification:

- Previous legal cashier experience / finance experience in a law firm
- Strong understanding of the SRA
- Experience using 3E is helpful but not essential
- Can manage own time and workloads
- Can be a strong member of a team
