The post-holder will assist and support the School Business Manager with the operation of the finance and procurement services for the Academy as it continues to grow and develop.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- Accurately process requisitions, orders and invoices, advising on best value, in accordance with agreed authorisation and timescales.
- Prepare and process payment runs, uploading these to online banking ready for authorisation, investigating any rejected payments.
- Manage school credit card spending as directed, reconcile statements and follow-up receipts.
- Manage ParentPay system as directed. Organise student accounts, create items for payment/parent authorisation and process/post weekly income.
- Evaluate, analyse and interpret data, run reports and make returns as required.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, other schools/organisations and budget holders to resolve queries as required.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records, using electronic recording systems and MIS to input data, generate reports and evaluate findings.

**THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:

- Good standard of education, including GCSE C/4+ equivalent in Maths and English Language
- NVQ 2 or equivalent qualification in relevant discipline
- Experience of budgetary control in Sage or similar financial software****:

- Ability to use ICT skills to manage & analyse data
- High standard of accuracy with attention to detail
- Ability to use initiative and plan/prioritise work
