**Role title: Inspector/QC Operative**

**Salary**:£23,860.64 per annum / £11.44 per hour

**Hours**:Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm

We’re looking for down-to-earth go-getters, who are ready to make their mark on the automotive industry. Our Site Operations teams play a vital role across our business. Here you can build on your knowledge and find your specialty at one of our sites or on the road - the opportunities are endless. Your key responsibilities will be:

- To carry out Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) as required by both manufacturer and individual contracts/customers
- Complete all relevant paperwork
- Input data on to the computer system
- Report all damage/faults when found
- Carry out basic standard vehicle preparation (to the customers’ requirements)
- Quality control of vehicles using workshop scanners
- Close worklines down on the workshop computer system
- Identify and report any damage to the vehicle
- Moving vehicles in/out of the workshop and relocating them using the workshop scanners
- To ensure that all documentation is accurately completed and that all company procedures are followed
- To participate in various manufacture training courses on and off site
- Ensure operations are carried out in accordance with site health & safety requirements

To be successful, you’ll bring some of the following experience with you:

- You should be self-motivated
- Good communicator
- Comfortable to work under pressure to strict deadlines
- Flexible with the ability to work overtime if required
- Work well on your own or as a team member
- Have a valid full driving licence
- Computer literate
- GCSE level or equivalent preferred.
- Good numerical skills with some basic knowledge of motor vehicle technology would also be advantageous.
