The Supply Room is currently recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a Year 4 class in Beckton starting immediately.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a crucial role in supporting students who may have behavioural difficulties, helping them to manage their emotions and engage effectively in the learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one and small group mentoring to students who require additional support with their behaviour.
- Collaborate with the class teacher to devise and implement strategies to address challenging behaviour patterns.
- Monitor and track student progress, regularly communicating with parents/guardians and providing feedback on behavioural improvements.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring all students feel valued and respected.
- Assist with the development and implementation of individual behaviour plans.
- Implement positive reinforcement strategies and reward systems to encourage positive behaviour.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with children in a behavioural support capacity.
- Strong understanding of child development, behaviour management strategies, and inclusion practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Resilience and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Ideally, hold a relevant qualification or training in behaviour management or child psychology.

Pay: £89.00-£110.00 per day
