CNC Miller/turner

An opportunity has arisen within R Winter Tooling for a CNC Miller - setter/operator.

We are looking for a CNC Miller/Tuner - setter/operator who ideally has the following skills:

- Experience of setting & operating 3 & 5 Axis CNC Mills and lahtes (training will be provided if required).
- Familiar with the use of Fanuc, Mazatrol & Heidenhain (training will be provided if required).
- Basic TNC control programming experience advantageous.
- Off line CAM experience advantageous.
- Have a good understanding of engineering drawings.
- Competent using measurement equipment (i.e. Vernier’s, Bore Micrometers, etc)
- Understanding of calculating speeds and feeds to the relative material being cut.
- Adjusting tool compensations where required.
- Good eye for detail in quality.
- Must be a proactive team player, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
