**Job purpose**:
To support delivery of organisational and departmental targets and customer service KPIs in conjunction with the Organisation’s strategic plan.

**Key responsibilities of the role**:
**Customer Service**
- To ensure that all calls to Membership are dealt with promptly, in line with agreed standards and targets.
- To establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all colleagues to ensure a ‘one team approach’ to the delivery of the best service possible to members.
- Speak to members who on occasions may be vulnerable in relation to the status of their membership that can sometimes involve sensitive and emotive conversations
- Manage live chat on daily basis to and on occasions be active to engage with members.

**Administration**
- Process cheques and other payments
- Process new direct debit forms, payment frequencies and bank account changes
- Contact members that have cancelled direct debits
- Set up and contact members for card payment plans when required
- Arrange for welcome packs for new members to be sent
- Send out all sensitive correspondence as requested by members including, receipts, letters of good standing, change to membership type forms and direct debit forms
- Managing member details changes on systems - retirement, non-practising, maternity etc.
- HCPC cross check re member registration (every two years)
- Attend and represent the organisation at Conferences and events if required
- Advise and help members who are unable to access the Membership area of the website and the membership App
- Manage membership area in live chat and allocated tickets from general area when required.
- Update the database for students and graduates from class and pass lists received to reflect relevant year or qualified
- Check HCPC register for those that may have passed but no graduate lists received.
- Maintain and update private practice information from lists and information received
- Assisting members with updating the details for them to appear on Find a podiatrist
- Assist and maintain the practice accreditation process for members
- To provide administrative support to the membership team when needed.

**Person Specification**

**Education**
- Educated to A level or equivalent and/or work experience

**Knowledge**
- Excellent organisational skills with proven ability to multitask whilst managing conflicting priorities
- Excellent written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of Data Protection Act/GDPR

**Desirable**
- Experience of working in a membership or professional body.
- Experience of working with volunteers
- Experience of using a membership database/CRM system
- Experience of handling sensitive or confidential information

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £29,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
