Rotherham, United Kingdom Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust Full time

We have an exciting opportunity for a half-time Band 4 Assistant Psychologist to join Rotherham CAMHS Psychological Therapies pathway.

The Psychological Therapies pathway is a multidisciplinary pathway and interventions are based on a variety of models including CAT, DDP, EMDR, CBT, family therapy, psychotherapy and art therapy. We have a positive culture of valuing the contributions and professional backgrounds of the different team members and of working together and supporting each other. We also have good working relationships with our colleagues in the other CAMHS pathways. We are keen to support personal and professional development and are able to support further training and development opportunities in line with service needs.

The Assistant Psychologist role in the Psychological Therapies pathway may include providing/supporting with therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a qualified member of the team, gathering and analysing feedback from young people and families, completing audits and contributing to research projects. There may also be opportunities to work with young people who have been referred to the Getting Help pathway which provides initial assessments and brief interventions for young people who are referred into CAMHS.
