Job Role General Machinist

Must have experience using the following
- Bandsaw

Guillotines

Presses

Croppers

Also the General Machinist will need to have experience
- Drilling

Cutting

Milling steel in accordance with nesting sheets

The General Machinist will be working on steel beams, columns and other components for manufacturing within the workshop.

The General Machinist will need to understand technical drawings to check and measure to ensure they are correc to the drawing.

The General Machinist will have knowledge of heavy guage steel production procedures.

The General Machinist must follow work instructions and work independently.

The General Machinist must adhere to the companies health and safety policy at all times.

Rates of pay for the General Machinist start at £10.95
