Job Overview:
I am currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide companionship and support to my 20 year old autistic son, to enable him to attend activities. The role involves escorting him from home to his activities, staying with him while he is there, and then escorting him home again. Activities include but are not limited to - Cinema, Swimming, One Stop Shop club in Inverness, walking around Inverness to go shopping, lunches out etc.

**Responsibilities**:

- To ensure client safety at all times, as he is unaware of the dangers around him
- Accompany him to activities and outings
- Support clients in a caring and respectful manner
- Assist him with his money when shopping etc

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a care role is preferable
- Ability to drive to clients' homes is essential, as will be required to travel.to activities
- Proficient in English, to allow easy communication with my son.
- Be patient and caring
- Must have previous experience of working with Autism

Hours are from 4 hours to a maximum of 12 hours a week.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 12 per week

**Benefits**:
