**Role: UX Designer - Customer Journeys

**Salary**: £55'000
Location: Somerset 1 day p/w**

This client are looking for a UX Designer who has a flare for CRO / Optimisation to improve the performance and potential of our clients' online journeys. They are at the start of a website transformation programme, rebuilding many of their digital platformsfrom scratch, where their customer experience and commercial goals are underpinned by the need to be able to measure and rapidly improve digital journeys.

**Experience required**:

- You will be comfortable with a fast pace, and will thrive in an environment where small, regular improvements are valued over time-crafted perfection
- You will work closely with our digital agencies, but you will also need to be hands-on with designing journeys and wireframes yourself
- You are likely to have a background in optimisation or user-experience, and the desire to broaden your skillset and try new things
- You will need to be comfortable in assessing the value and risk of journey changes, to aid prioritisation and the appropriate testing approach
- You'll be familiar with A/B Testing platforms e.g. Google Optimize, Maxymiser, Optimizely or similar, and a hands-on user of experience of analytics tools e.g. Google Analytics#

**Responsibilities**:

- You will be joining a tight and well-supported Marketing team, and you will work alongside a Digital Marketing Manager, their creative and digital agencies and the internal tech and data teams.
- You will be responsible for the experience and performance of our most important digital customer journeys, starting with how customers buy and get connected to our network
- You will identify and prioritise opportunities to improve those journeys, using best practice and your own analysis or research to guide you, and you will design and deliver those changes
- You will be comfortable deciding when to test and experiment, and when to implement at pace and fail fast
- As the main owner of our online journeys, you will obsess about finding and improving the metrics that best demonstrate customer and commercial success (from sales conversion to customer effort) and you will be comfortable sharing any insight so that wholeteam can benefit
- You will work with colleagues who also have requirements around those journeys (for example changes to product rules, industry regulations, or new proposition/promotion ideas) and you will prioritise their needs alongside your own objectives, shaping anddelivering the online execution and maintaining the performance of your journeys
