RNIB have a great opportunity to join our Procurement team on a 18 month FTC.

Working with our Procurement Team you will manage the organisational deployment and maintenance of the Proactis Supplier Source to Contract Management system.

You will be a central point of contact to both advise and guide RNIB Supplier Relationship Managers and Contract Managers to maximise the potential of our Source to Contract System. Helping embed a culture of accountability and compliance by empowering thoseacross RNIB in supplier management methods whilst measuring success.

With experience in Procurement, you will support the Head of Procurement, Procurement Business Partners and current Procurement Specialist and a network of Supplier Relationship Managers (SRM) across RNIB in embracing new ways of working. It's the supportand advice we offer, the systems we provide and having a wide knowledge base that makes the difference.

You will be prepared to work as part of a skilled team to help develop procurement systems that inform our position and help drive cost reduction using Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) procurement methods.

Ideally, you will be knowledgeable in supplier management and contract management methodologies and may hold a qualification with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or similar.

Do you have experience of supply chain management, risk and resilience management and an understanding of the importance of the procurement cycle and supply cycle?

Would you be able to learn, facilitate and manage the implementation of supplier performance and contract management activities to help build our quarterly business reporting?

You will be experienced and keen to offer training and guidance to a network of supplier relationship and contract managers across RNIB, to challenge and ensure we work smartly and achieve value for money in everything we purchase.

Based at home with a consideration of smarter working, the post will involve some travelling to other establishments and suppliers throughout the UK.
