Core Drugs Team Recovery Support Volunteer

Overview:
As a Core drugs team Recovery support volunteer, you will be working in close collaboration with; core drugs team Recovery Coordinators, clinical teams and a variety of external agencies.

The successful volunteers will be given specific training and a wide offer of accrediting learning. You will also be assigned to a core drugs team worker and will be working towards a specific development plan.

**Volunteering at Change Grow Live**

Volunteers contribute to Change Grow Live in a variety of ways. From Admin Volunteers to Service User Reps, from Peer Mentors to Healthcare Support Volunteers, from Independent Visitors to Community Mentors each volunteer brings a unique set of skills and talents. We are incredibly grateful for all that volunteers do to support our service users.

Everyone is welcome at Change Grow Live. As a volunteer you will be treated with respect and accepted for who you are. You don’t need to have personal experience of drug and alcohol recovery to get involved.

**th**
**- 31**
**st**
**March 2023**

**Training Dates**:
**Training will be held every Tuesdays 10am-14.00pm - between 18/04/2023 - 23/05/2023**

**Attendance on training dates is an essential part for the volunteer role**, please check training dates and your availability to attend all training sessions, all training is QLS accredited.

**Training modules**:

- Volunteer induction training: 18/04/2023
- Boundaries/Confidentiality training: 25/04/2023
- Alcohol awareness training: 02/05/2023
- Drug awareness training: 09/05/2023
- Harm reduction training: 16/05/2023
- Trauma informed care training: 23/05/2023
