Sen Tutor

RTC Resources have an exciting opportunity for experienced SEN tutors to work within the community.

We have ongoing work available Monday-Friday. 20 hours per week.

We are looking for tutor for one specific client to work within the community to work in line with this individuals EHCP.

We can offer you a competitive rate. starting from £20.00 - £25.00 per hour

**Job Description**:

- Updating patients’ charts and daily notes to keep track of their progress
- Listening to patients and providing them with relevant feedback and support
- Supporting individuals to meet targets.
- Using different communication methods.
- Organising lessons and weekly timetables.
- Being responsible for the well-being and safety of patients under care
- Interacting respectfully with patients and their relatives, building a strong relationship.
- Keep all matters related to patients or their families confidential at all times
- In the case of serious side effects or health-related issues, notify the patient’s family/guardian and the management team.
- Observe, monitor and record clients' physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes.
- Encourage clients to participate in social, learning and recreational activities.
- Liaising with management as necessary
- Working towards specific outcomes for each individual
- Providing person-centred care
- Providing respite care for families

As a Tutor you will need to hold the following requirements:

- At least 6 months experience within UK as an SEN Tutor or Teacher within a Special needs school.
- PMVA Training
- Teaching Qualification
- Right to work in the UK
- Be able to provide x2 references covering the last 1 year’s employment
- DBS In date preferably on the update service.
- Mandatory training
- Confident with Makaton signing
- Experience with individuals who portray challenging behaviour

Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
