Maintenance/cleaner

**Jacqueline's Gems Childcare Services ltd are in search for a particular individual.**

**We are looking for an individual who is looking for a varied job role. We require a Cleaner/Maintenance operative to help maintain our sites in Bexley and Kent.**

**Having your own transport in essential.**

Our family entertainment centre in Erith '**Kassiopi Cove Soft Play Centre' **requires you to work **5 mornings** a week, one of which will be **Saturday Morning** at the hours of **06.30 - 09.30.**

You will then be required to travel to other facilities on rota to carry out similar roles.

Duties specific to the Soft Play will include cleaning, Reception areas, rearranging tables, chairs and equipment’s used at the venue. Alongside this you will be required to carry out General maintenance such as painting, fixing items etc etc. Duties on other sites will be site specific.

As a member of the team at this popular soft play centre you will ensure that everything is clean and tidy and ready for the doors to open. You will ensure that all areas are presented to the highest standards. At Kassiopi Cove ensuring that our venue is sparkly clean and ready for the next trading session is of the upmost importance. Our cleaners are extremely important members of our team and we look upon them to ensure the standards our guests expect, are delivered time and time again.

Full training will be given however previous experience is essential.

**Your duties will include but are not limited to**:

- Work alongside the Manager to ensure cleanliness of the venue;
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout all sites;
- Ensure all waste is disposed of in external bins adhering to company recycling policy;
- Ensure all areas of the soft play, including external path, windows and surfaces have been cleaned to standard;
- To ensure wet/dry vacuums, floor scrubbers and vacuum cleaners are used safely and in accordance with the manufacturers instructions;
- To ensure spillages and slip or trip hazards are cleaned up as soon as possible; and
- To ensure wet floor signs are used to warn of hazardous wet flooring.

This is a **Full time **permanent role that will include mornings and will definitely include weekends due to the nature of our business, so you must be flexible in terms of the hours required of you. This is by no means a 9 to 5 role and all applicants should take this into consideration. Our team love what they do We have a passion for providing an experience second to none.
