Hours: 37 hours per week

We are looking for Street Cleansing Operatives to join our team in Malton.

**Our Service**

Our Street Cleansing Operatives support the functions, ensuring the North Yorkshire Council area is a clean and welcoming place for residents, businesses and visitors to enjoy.

**The Role**

As our Street Cleansing Operative, you will undertake a wide variety of cleansing functions, such as litter picking, emptying of street bins, graffiti removal, cleaning of public conveniences, and winter snow clearing and gritting to assist in the cleansing of public places and open spaces. You will also be responsible for operating various pieces of plant equipment.

**What you will bring**

To be successful you must have:

- Commitment to delivering a high-quality service and have an understanding of meeting the needs of customer and service priorities
- Great communication skills;
- The ability to work collaboratively with other team members and to achieve team goals.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience working in an outdoor environment, but this is not essential as full training will be provided.
