**Salary - £25,000 - £28,000 p.a.**

**Working hours - 0700-1600 Mon-Fri**

**Full Job Description**:
**Operational Responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor/Asst Manager**
- FLT licence is essential for this role.
- Day to day supervision of the warehouse operations
- To ensure the warehouse team is capable of delivering the daily volume of thebusiness.
- Responsible for working to deadlines & achieving set targets SLA/KPI as set by the Head of Operations
- Oversee the process/team for the timely picking, packing and despatching of orders for retail & ecom customers
- Ensure all retail orders are checked prior to despatch and that ecom orders are collated by carrier correctly for the outbound team.
- Carryout Supervisor checks on retail orders as and when required
- Ensure all relevant outbound documentation is processed with orders being despatched
- Maintain CHEP account
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and security across site operations
- Drive continuous improvement within the Warehouse

**HR Responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor/Asst Manager**
- Conduct performance reviews and provide appropriate feedback/training and support to team new members.
- Deliver daily team meetings and report to Head of Operations on key issues
- Deal with first line people management issues timely and appropriately
- Ensure all direct reports complete their tasks to the highest standard and that they are managed from a performance point of view
- Adhere to Health and Safety regulations, ensuring that all staff are complying to the relevant H & S protocol.
- Identify any training requirements for members of staff within the warehouse departments
- Carryout formal investigations as and when required in-line with the company’s disciplinary procedure.
- Work experience/educational requirements

**Essential**
- GCSE Graded 4 or above (or equivalent)
- Experience of working within a fast-paced retail & ecom warehouse environment
- Previous experience of supervising within a Warehouse
- Good PC skills including MS Excel and Word
- Experience of working with a WMS
- MHE licence holder

**Desirable**
- I.L.M. qualifications
