Driver Attendant

Driver Attendant based in Winsford working 30 hours per week in term time and 10 hours per week in school holidays. Working days are Monday to Friday approximately 07.30 - 10.30 and 14.30 - 17.30

Cheshire West and Chester Council have an exciting opportunity for a Driver Attendant to join a high performing and busy in-house Passenger Fleet Transport Team.

The role will require professional driving services at high standards taking children and vulnerable adults to school and day centres around the Borough.

What are we looking for?

Excellent driving, interpersonal and communication skills

Enthusiasm to provide services to very high standards

Flexible in approach to working hours which can vary due to operational requirements

Mini bus/passenger type vehicle driving experience

Full clean UK driving licence with category D1

MIDAS qualification (not essential as training will be provided)

The contractual work location for this role is listed above however you may be required to work from a range of work locations or sites within the Borough and may also be required to work from home, depending on the needs of the service.
