**Equifind** are supporting a well known global Private Equity firm based in London by Green Park, who are hiring a VP level Controller to initially focus on the Real Estate Funds. The role reports to the CFO in Paris and dotted line to theGroup CFO, therefore French speakers are strongly preferred.
The PE business has backed some globally recognisable brands as well as real estate development. The focus is on RE but will move into Private Equity.
The PE fund has over £25Bn in equity across the various funds.
**The Role**:
The position is at a VP level and reports to the CFO in Paris. (Strong French communication skills are highly desirable) The deal flow is up and they have a busy 2023 and 2024 ahead. The role is to oversee the 3rd party auditors, tax professionals and fundadministrators); financial statement preparation; co-ordinate 1/4ly close; regulatory reporting; distribution calls; cash management; tax; budgeting; restructuring entities and all ad hoc reporting as required.
They see it as a greenfield project, a fresh role where you can come in and put your stamp on it. A lot of the role is dealing with process improvement. The entities are complex and the outsource providers, for example the fund administrators, need to bealigned. So the new individual needs to come in, find issues, assess policy and procedures and build out what good looks like.
You will be the point person for the BIG 4 auditors and deal team, to help streamline everything.
**Requirements**:
- Ideally a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 7 years+ PQE (10 years+ experience)
- Ideally a French speaker
- Knowledge of LUX structures
- Strong Financial Services/ Real Estate Fund experience
- Can be coming from practice or from within industry
- High degree of commercial acumen
- Effective communicator, drive and professional
