- Thursday 9.30am-2.30pm**

**Responsible to: Registered Manager**

**Role summary**:
To ensure that Stallcombe House and offices are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**

Stallcombe House ethos and philosophy
- To positively promote and follow the ethos and philosophy of Stallcombe House when carrying out all aspects of the role.

Residents
- Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of residents at all times.
- Ensure the highest standard of care whilst working with residents.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork for residents is completed and care plans are updated as appropriate.
- Responsible for ensuring the housekeeping activities meet resident’s goals and enable them to develop their individual skills.

**Housekeeping**
- Work alongside residents and staff to ensure that Stallcombe House communal areas and offices are cleaned to the highest standard.
- Oversee the laundry, ensuring that it is fully equipped and in working order.
- Identify, prioritise and log any maintenance needs ensuring that the buildings, equipment and furniture are safe and fit for purpose.
- Manage, order and control the stock of supplies and cleaning equipment needed to enable the smooth running of Stallcombe House.
- Responsible for the safe storage of all cleaning products

**Other Duties**
- Undertake general support work for residents as required.
- Arrange and prepare rooms for meetings and training.
- Any other duties as required.

**The post holder must have the following: -**
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Qualifications Excellent organisation skills.
Knowledge and Understanding of infection control procedures within a care
Experience home environment

**It would be advantageous for the job holder to have the following: -**
- Experience of supporting adults with learning disabilities.
- Experience of working as a cleaner or housekeeper in a residential setting.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.70 per hour
