Plant/HGV Fitters maintain, repair, and operate heavy machinery in construction settings. Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, replacing damaged parts, and ensuring optimal machine performance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conducting regular maintenance and repair work on plant machinery and equipment
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues and faults
- Ordering and replacing faulty plant components and parts
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace
- Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair work done on plant machinery and equipment
- Attending to emergency breakdowns and repairs when necessary

**Requirements**:

- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge of plant machinery/HGV
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends if required

**Salary**: Negotiable
