ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands on role and will be responsible for the day to day running of a busy Goods In department. Duties include but are not exclusive to the scheduling of the teams duties, ensuring all deliveries are booked in within 24hrs of receipt, full responsibility of the receipt of batch traceable products, the unloading of delivery vehicles, the correct storage of each product, full compliance to health and safety procedures, staff management and liaising with various internal departments.

ABOUT YOU
- A methodical individual who can deal with situations in a calm manor.
- Able to priorities the work load and understand that some tasks are more of a priority than others and should be dealt with first.
- A great people person who leads from the front and can gain the respect from their team and help their team to achieve their targets.
- A good communicator, someone who can clearly communicate to their team and other departments both on site and across the wider Eriks.
- Have a total focus on health and safety above all other considerations.
- Preferable to have an understanding of a batch controlled business.
- Preferable to have an understanding of Kanban process.
- An FLT licence is preferable but not essential as training can be provided.
