We are recruiting a Procurement Coordinator for a well established and highly successful organisation with a solid presence across the UK.

As Procurement Coordinator, you will report to the Buyer Team Lead, and be an integral part of the Procurement Department providing general administrative support in order to meet the department objectives by accurate and timely processing of information.

This includes the ordering of goods and services to meet customer expectations in a timely manner. Ensuring that orders are clear and concise and match quotes from suppliers where applicable.Taking responsibility and ownership for life cycle of orders ensuring date management is maintained and communicated both internally and externally.

You will ensure that delays or long lead in times are notified to the internal supply chain and quotes are within budget and if not notify your line Manager for approval.

In addition, an important part of this role involves proactive management of quality issues to include recording new issues and ordering of goods and services to site when required, as well as document control including filing electronically and archiving historical paperwork.

You will have have the ability to manage and prioritise your workload, meet deadlines with good attention to detail and possess excellent communication skills.
