Here at Angel Support Living Ltd we thrive from providing a high level of care to the vulnerable adults living within our 24-hour supported accommodation. We do this by providing our clients with furnished homely accommodation that they will call their home and staff who are doing something they love, helping vulnerable adults live as independently as possible by being on site and available to provide 24 hour care when necessary.

We are now looking for 1 experienced Support Worker to join our growing company and be based at our site in Bethnal Green, London

To meet the criteria of this role, you will have experience in working within a similar role within the care sector for a minimum of 1 year, providing care to adults from the age of 18 who are living with complex Mental Health disorders, Learning disabilities and substance misuse. A minimum of a NVQ Level 2 is desirable but not essential for this role.

A good knowledge around different Mental Health disorders is essential for this role in order to ensure you have an understanding of the support our clients require. However, please note all our clients have their own individual support plan that is reviewed and updated regularly, all staff are aware of each clients individual support plan and the support they require.

A real passion for what you do, and an general interest in helping our clients with their every day life is essential for this role. Duties and responsibilities for this role include the following:
Keeping client folders up to date

Personal Care/Administrating medication

Attending appointments with clients

Taking clients shopping

Taking clients on day trips/holidays

Supporting clients maintain their accommodation

Support clients with their meal preparation

Supporting clients to family visits

This is a full time position with a 40 hour plus sleeps contract, all of our staff work flexible hours to meet the needs of the business, this includes working weekends/evenings and sleep in's. You are entitled to 28 days paid holiday, all training in house, online and external provided when you start your employment with us and throughout the duration of your career with Angel.
