Pebbles Care a leading education and residential child care organisation, committed to providing exceptional care and support to children are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team.

Our Finance department play a vital role in ensuring the cash flow and logistics of the business operate effectively and efficiently. You will work within an established team of finance and accountancy professionals within the Residential Child Care sector.

**Your Role**:
Working on a hybrid model between home and our head office in Dunfermline, your role will include:

- Managing our Soldo finance system, while assisting our managers with their queries.
- Processing month end journals.
- Using Xero to process purchase invoices and bank reconciliations.
- Dealing with the incoming mail at our head office.
- Ensuring all company bank accounts are reconciled daily.
- Supporting our accounts payable team and management accountant when required.
- Assisting with all other general finance tasks

Essential Requirements
- Minimum of National 5 English, Maths and Business or Accounting qualification or equivalent.
- Proactive nature.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Consistent professional manner
- Ability to work accurately, prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to learn new skills and work towards any relevant qualifications, where appropriate.
- Can work independently or as part of a team.

**Desirable Requirements**
- Full driving licence.
- Previous experience in a similar role.

- A salary of £26,250 per annum
- Your hours of work are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- You will receive 28 days holidays per annum
