**Data Quality Lead**.
The Data Governance and Quality team work to deliver data standards, governance, analysis, and a single version of the truth. All this will put the intelligent insight into the hands of our people to maximise its efficiency and continue to provide excellentcustomer service we need to harness our data and use it to drive intelligent, insight driven decisions.
We have a great opportunity for a dynamic and passionate individual to join our Data Quality team to help develop and grow our data quality offering. The team focus is on the enterprise data quality cycle, from creation, updating, transition & receipt of datato disposal. Also, ensuring data is of the highest quality. Immediate focus is with Customer, Asset and Property objects but we do operate with data across the entire Thames Water enterprise.
**What you’ll be doing**
The Data Quality Lead needs to be a self-starter able to accept challenges and also be challenging. They should also be familiar with various types of architecture and governance. A background that has made use of TOGAF, ITIL, Prince2, Agile (DevOps/Kan banor similar) or resources like Gartner and DAMA is useful but not essential.
The role needs to explore data often without guidance, find insight and opportunities and measure that against business value & priorities
- often at an enterprise scale not just one area or on face value.
**What you should bring to the role**:

- To aid the Data Quality Manager in ensuring that the products and services that are provided by the Group comply with both external and internal requirements and standards, including any relevant legal compliance and customer expectations
- Identify, assess, monitor, document, and communicate potential quality issues in the way data is collected, stored, processed, or used
- Undertake and Conduct Data Quality Management activities
- Identify, compare, and resolve data quality problems
- Evaluate large dataset for quality and accuracy
- Determine business impact level for data quality issues
- Work with stakeholders to influence and correct data quality errors & prevent them returning through root cause analysis making recommendations for long-term solutions
- Work with Service Management & Integration teams to establish and monitor service level agreements, communication protocols with data suppliers, and data assurance policies are met
