L J Transportation is a well-established, family run Vehicle Recovery Company, specialising in ADR vehicle recovery. Our well-stocked fleet puts the team in a perfect position to handle any recovery situation throughout Essex, Suffolk, Cambridge and thesurrounding areas.
You will have a 7pm start and work a 12 hour shift. Please note that due to our rural location, you must drive or be a 5/10 minute walk as there is no public transport nearby.

**Are you the right person for us?**
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication and customer care skills
- A good standard of written and spoken English
- Preferably some prior experience with call handling/customer service/call centre
- A good self-starter with the ability to multi-task is a must
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
- Good knowledge of the surrounding area would be ideal but not essential
- Some motor vehicle knowledge would be advantageous
- It would be advantageous to be able to drive as due to our location
**What will your role as a Call Handler look like?**
- Dealing with live breakdowns and customer care updates
- Allocate correct resources to ensure that all calls and tasks are attended to by the appropriate recovery driver and vehicle
- Ensure customers are informed timely of job progression/development through to a satisfactory resolution
- Ensure that the necessary processes and procedures are understood and followed thereby providing a consistent and professional service to the customer
- Liaising with the recovery personnel
**Interview process**
The first stage interview will be followed by a “meet the team” at 10am-2pm
