Junior Sous

Our client, a venue offering a variety of food and beverage operations including Meetings, functions and events are currently looking to recruit either a Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef to join their talented team.

This Junior Sous / Sous Chef role will give you the opportunity to assist in developing the menus and striving to exceed budgets through a good understanding of GP and P&L. You will work closely with the Head Chef and contribute to the success of the company.You will also ensure a high level of quality fresh, local and seasonal food is delivered.
This is an amazing opportunity for a Chef who really wants to make their mark, have the opportunity to create menus and work with fresh produce. This role would suit an experienced Sous Chef but would also be a great development opportunity for a Junior SousChef looking for progression, as in time with the right training they would promote you to a Sous Chef when ready.

Hours:
48 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis. Shifts will typically be daytimes but it would also include some evenings (no more than 2 evenings per week except at Christmas time when slightly more) and weekend work to cover functions and events.
