Full Stack Developer (Tech for Good, Multiple languages, Cross train)
**Your new company**
The role is based in Bournemouth but is a hybrid position, you will have the chance to work with a wide range of technologies and learn some new ones. They use Ruby for 50% of their work, but their last 3 hires have not come with any Ruby experience. Yet, theyhave successfully retrained and learnt the skills needed through the freedom and opportunity offered to them by the business. This speaks volume of the culture of learning and utilising the right technologies for the project at hand, within the business. **Your new role**
The company are looking for a full stack developer to assist in building out their bespoke platform. Which involves development, DevOps, working on front end, back end, the role is "full stack on steroids". The company has the freedom to work with both establishedand new technologies, languages, frameworks. No two days are the same.
In addition to covering database front end to back-end development, the team have all the responsibility of looking after the AWS infrastructure and DevOps. At least 50% of your time will be spent developing new features.
**What you'll need to succeed**
Developers that fit here tend to be language agnostic and will be excited by the opportunity to work with a range of tools/technologies.
You'll get exposure to Ruby, Python, Vue/Angular, NoSQL Databases in an AWS environment using GIT. Experience with Microservices is desirable and there is a push on DevOps tools and CI/CD. A massive selling point of this role is the organisations willingnessto invest and help people cross-train into these technologies, rather than needing everything from day 1.
