We are currently recruiting for a full time greenkeeper to join our team. You will be part of a 6 person team who are responsible for the daily maintenance of the golf courses and grounds.
Personal specification:
- Positive and flexible approach to work.
- Able to work as a team player.
- Previous experience in golf, sports turf, horticulture or landscaping.
- Full PPE
- In house training in all aspects of greenkeeping.
- Support for further education, training and qualifications.

**Job Purpose**
Maintain golf course and landscaping around the course, Clubhouse and other Club facilities, including car park.
Job Tasks/Duties
Plants and maintains ornamental shrubs and trees.
Trims and feeds shrubs and trees; removes cutting.
Maintains landscape beds around the Clubhouse and Club grounds.
Rakes and blows leaves.
Maintain ponds, lakes, ditches and waterways.
Maintenance of drainage and irrigation systems.
Mows greens and fairways and rough areas with appropriate machinery.
Bunker maintenance.
Woodland management.
Prepares and lays turf.
Loads and unloads materials when required.
Repairs and maintains driving range tees.
Aerifies and spikes greens.
Digs holes and trenches to maintain or construct irrigation and drainage lines.
Empties bins.
Has a thorough understanding of the health and safety policies, and emergency procedures.
Attends departmental team meetings.
Performs other related tasks assigned by the Course Manager and/or the Deputy Course Manager.
To ensure a high degree of personal presentation and hygiene in line with the company’s dress and appearance policy.
To be a positive ambassador for the Company’s CARE values at all times.
Education and/or Experience
High school education.
Experience in golf course grounds maintenance or greenkeeping is desirable.
Licenses and Special Requirements
NVQ Level 2 min. desirable but not essential
Certification on pesticide usage as per UK law, if required.
